Sign Language Classes
Our Irish Sign Language (ISL) classes are currently taking place in Dublin and on Live Sessions (online classes via Zoom).

Classes in Dublin
Classes are normally taken place at Macro Community Resource Centre, 1 Green Street, Dublin 7.
ISL Basic/Level 1
- ISL Basic/Level 1 Course
(QQI Level 3) - Date: Wednesday 1st November 2023
- Time: 6:00 pm for an hour
- Includes access to Online ISL course
- With an option to study for a full Level 1 certificate if you wish to continue after Basic course is completed.
Book your place with €20.00 deposit above and pay the remaining €110.00 cash on the 1st day of the class. The total cost is €130.00 including the deposit.
Full ISL Level 1
When you have completed the Basic ISL classes and wish to continue to study for a full Level 1 ISL certificate
- Irish Sign Language Level 1 Course
(QQI Level 3) - Time: 6:00pm for an hour
- Study for full Level 1 certificate
- Includes access to Online ISL course
- Three exams included
Notice on ISL Level 1 Continuing – Anyone doing the ISL Level 1 Continuing must have completed Basic ISL in classes (whether online face-to-face or in the classroom), not via online course at your own time. If online Basic ISL has been completed, extra time would be required to prepare for the first exam. Contact us for further details.
Full ISL Level 2
- Level 2 course (QQI Level 4)
- Date: TBC
- Time: 7:00pm for an hour
- Length: 24 weeks
- 3 exams included, if pass them all get certificate.
Book your place with €20.00 deposit above and pay the remaining €435.00 cash on the 1st day of the class. The total cost is €455.00 including the deposit.
Notice: Level 1 assessments are required before doing Level 2 course

Live Sessions Online
Learn Irish Sign Language online with our tutor through Zoom Meetings
Live Sessions Online: One-to-One ISL Class
- Learn ISL live online at your chosen day and time on a regular basis.
- Unsure which course to go for? Unsure whether you would like to learn ISL? You can have one session and see from there.
- How many sessions you require is up to you. You can pay as you go or pay for a few sessions. Each session runs for up to one hour. Basic Course requires up to 8 sessions, while Full Level 1 course requires up to 20 sessions.
- You would be required to have a device with a working webcam to use this.
- Exams are not included but can be added if required. Certificates will be issued only after three exams are passed
- Also suitable for Children as well
Live Sessions Online: ISL Basic/Level 1
- ISL Basic / Level 1
- Date: TBC
- Up to 1-hour session once weekly on Tuesdays at 5:00 pm (time subject to change).
- Places are limited so please book your place as soon as possible

Live Sessions Online: Level 1 Continuing
- ISL Level 1 Continuing course for those who have completed ISL Basic
- Up to one hour sessions twice weekly
- Includes access to online course
- Places are limited so please book your place as soon as possible

Live Sessions Online: Level 2
- ISL Level 2 Course (Approx 24 classes)
- Date: TBC
- Up to one hour session once weekly on Thursdays at 5:30pm
- Includes access to online course
- Places are limited so please book your place as soon as possible
