Exploring the Self-Efficacy of Teachers Working with Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (D/HH)

My name is Ailbhe O’Halloran. I am the parent of a child who is D/HH.  I am a post-primary teacher now working as a lecturer at the Centre for Special Educational Needs, Inclusion and Diversity (CSENID) at Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Sligo. I am also currently completing doctoral studies at Dublin City University (DCU).

As part of my doctoral research, I am conducting a study that explores the self-efficacy of teachers working with students who are Deaf / Hard of Hearing (D/HH). The study includes teachers working across a range of settings, including primary and post-primary schools, special schools, special classes, schools for the Deaf and the Visiting Teacher Service.
