Irish Deaf.com’s new partnership with Cork Deaf Association

We gave a presentation about who is IrishDeaf.com and what is IrishDeaf.com.

We are very pleased to say that it was successful. A huge thank you to Cork Deaf Association for the great partnership with us such as providing the room and lending us your equipment.

We hope that our partnership will grow bigger in the future.

Deaf Ethiopia Project works to keep the ALDS (Ambo Deaf School) and continuing to help transform the lives of the Deaf children in Ambo, Ethiopia.

Irish Deaf.com’s donation report from 2004 to 2016

idc-donation-report-2004-2016We have now finally assembled a report of what Irish Deaf.com has donated to various deaf organisations (as well as for other charities) over the years from 2004 to 2016 this year, with the money coming from our bag-packing fund-raising.  The report contains 42 pages of chart, bar and pie graphs for the organisations with the figure we have donated to each organisation per year.

Irish Deaf.com’s bagpacking and charity fundraising in 2014

fundraising 1We wish to thank Tesco Ireland and other supermarkets for supporting our bagpacking and charity fundraising in 2014.

Despite 2014 being a difficult year compared to 2013, due to reduced bagpacking bookings; however, we have been able to continue to offer this service. We are delighted to offer support to charities in the Deaf community. So far, over €830,000 has been paid out since 2004 and during 2014 over €35,000 was paid out to the following beneficiaries;

  • Tallaght Deaf Club
  • Deaf Sports Ireland
  • Irish Deaf Women’s Group
  • Irish Deaf Youth Association
  • Deaf Greenbow
  • Aware & Temple Street Children’s Hospital (Tesco Charity)

Bag Packing and Charity Fundraising 2013 Report
