SUBTITLED  FILMS  EVERY  WEDNESDAY  IN  TRALEE  OMNIPLEX
Just to remind everyone that Tralee Omniplex will now show a subtitled movie
every Wednesday evening. This is great news for the Deaf and hard of hearing
community in Co. Kerry.

The next subtitled film, Run All Night, will be screening in Tralee Omniplex
on Wednesday 25th March at 8.30 pm.  It is about an aging hitman who is
forced to take on his brutal former boss to protect his estranged son and
his family.  It stars Joel Kinnaman, Liam Neeson and Genesis Rodriguez.

To get more information about the film and if there is a change to the

TESCO  COMMUNITY  FUND  DONATION
We would like to thank Tesco in Manor West, Tralee for donating 269.77 euro
from their Community Fund to our service.  Their Community Fund donates
money to local community groups who have been nominated to take part.  We
are very grateful for the donation. This will go towards the ongoing

FUNDERLAND  CORK  2015
Funderland is back again this year in Cork. It will host a morning that is
open to deaf, hard of hearing (hoh) & hearing kids of Deaf adults (KODA) on
Friday 27th March from 11am–1pm at the old Ford Vehicle Handling Centre,
Centre Park Road, Cork (beside the Showgrounds).  Places are limited. If you
are interested in going, let us know, as we will need to pass your name on
to the organisers in advance.

SIGN  LANGUAGE  INTERPRETER  ACCESS  AT  CORK  GAOL
Cork Deaf Club (CDC) have arranged for an Interpreter to join them on
Saturday 28th March 2015 on a visit to the historic Cork Gaol.  Admission is
7euro and paid to CDC.  They will meet outside the gaol at 11.30 am.

This will be a fascinating tour if you are interested in Irish history?
Have you ever wanted to see where prisoners were housed in 19th century
Ireland?  Visitors to the gaol get a fascinating insight into day-to-day
prison life at a time when the high walls ensured no escaped. Law abiding
citizens were also denied the opportunity to see one of the finest examples
of Ireland’s architectural heritage.

The cells are furnished with amazingly life like wax figures; original
graffiti on cell walls tell the innermost feelings of some inmates. An
audio-visual tells the social history and contrasting lifestyles of the 19th
century Cork. It also shows why some people turned to crime, while others
ended up in Australia.

For more information about the gaol and its location go to:
