MISS INDIA WORLDWIDE WON BY DEAF CONTESTANT.
For the 1st time in its history, Nehal Bhogaita, a Deaf contestant from
Leicester, won Miss India Worldwide. The competition was held in Kuala
Lumpur and the winner announced just a few days ago.
Catherine White who is now living in Leicester introduced our manager Willie
White to Nehal. Willie can see clearly why the judges selected her as their
overall winner- a beautiful, talented and energetic woman with a fantastic
personality and a smile that would light up a room.
On the competition website, they say “Nehal wants to be a role model for
people like her who are deaf and she has done just that. For her talent,
Nehal performed Bollywood dance routine that highlights her own conviction
of never giving up. While she is unable to hear the music, she dances using
the vibrations of the beats”.
Well done and congrats to Nehal 🙂
