CASTLEISLAND STREET COLLECTION- THANK YOU.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the volunteers who supported our Street Collection in Castleisland during the week. A particular word of thanks to Noreen & Therese who organised the event and secured volunteers. As always, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to the collection, we truly value your support. Lastly, our thanks to the business owners in Castleisland for allowing us space to collect outside their premises.

REMINDER OF TRALEE STREET COLLECTION.

Just a gentle reminder that we will have a Street Collection in Tralee this Friday (21st of September) If you can volunteer for any length of time, please contact Noreen & Therese in our office and they will give you more information on times/location etc.

INTRODUCTION OF CREDIT CARD FACILITY.

Over the coming weeks, our service will finally introduce a credit card payment facility. If you purchase items such as hearing aid batteries or equipment, you will be able to pay through your credit card on our new Sum Up facility.

You can opt to input your PIN number or by contactless. Payment by cash will continue to be accepted. Please inform a staff member which option you prefer to use.

REMINDER OF OUR BATTERY RECYCLING SERVICE.

To ensure we are following good environment practices, our Centre introduced a battery recycling option. Initially, we mainly accepted hearing aid batteries. However, this has now extended to include the following batteries 1) AA. 2) AAA. 3) 9V. 4) C. 5) D. 6) 6V. This enables batteries to be disposed of correctly and protect our environment from contamination. The batteries are broken down & reused to make new products. We accept batteries even if they were not purchased from our Centre.
