Kerry Deaf Resource Centre Update 11.07.16

THANK YOU FOR KILLARNEY COLLECTION VOLUNTEERS

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the volunteers & staff of our Centre who assisted with our Street Collection in Killarney last Friday. We would also like to thank those who contributed to the collection.

DECISION TO CANCEL FUTURE STREET COLLECTIONS IN KILLARNEY

While we are grateful for the support with Street Collections in Killarney over the years, we have decided that this will be our last Street Collection in Killarney for the foreseeable future.

The funding obtained from this collection continues to fall each year. In addition, with further concerns being raised about the governance and financial management of a number of national charities, this is impacting on collections organised by smaller services like our Centre.

If and when we decide to resume Street Collections in Killarney, we will let you know. Again, our thanks to everyone for their support to date.
